I'm still on the 178.13 driver from laptopvideo2go and I want to upgrade.

I don't really want to touch the 180+ series yet, they seem very dodgy, (unless someone can confirm there's a really good 180+ one for the 9600m GT)

Can anyone recommend a stable one to use or should I just stick with the one I have if the recent ones don't really add much?

I'd use the new ones off the Nvidia website if i were you, there was an article on the Notebookreview homepage a couple of days ago which said about nvidia now offering Drivers for the mobile series of laptops, thats what iuse and they run well

I just installed those new notebook drivers (7.15.11.7928) on my dv5 here with 9600M GT card and it runs great.
