dv5 Flashing caps lock after sleep

Hello everyone, so I've had my dv5 for about a year now. It hasn't had any major problems but there is the one annoying thing that happens every so often with it that just started quite recently (About a month ago?). Sometimes when close the lid of my laptop and it goes into sleep mode I cannot get it to get out of sleep. When I open the lid, the power light comes on, but the display doesn't show anything and the caps lock is flashing. I think the only way to get it working again is to hold the power button till it turns off and then reboot. Rebooting works just fine it's just occasionally closing the lid won't allow it to wake.

It's quite a nuisance especially if I have unsaved work. I haven't noticed any particular patterns that trigger this so does anyone know what it could be?

 

Happens to me sometimes too. Its kind of annoying.

So no one has any idea what this could be? I mean I just reformatted, but it still does it (Although I've noticed not as often).

Another serious problem occurred just now though. I closed the lid and usually I leave my volume on mute but this time I had it on. I heard a 'click' sound right after I closed it (Specifically, the default sound of double clicking on a folder in Windows). I wanted to see what it was all about so I tried to open the lid again. It looked like it was trying to boot up because the power light blinked for a second and the wifi light blinked orange at the same time, but no caps light like the other times. It quickly faded though and nothing happened. So I tried pressing power again and everytime was the same result. I thought I had lost my laptop so I pulled out the battery and plugged it back on and luckily it works again. So what the hell is going on?
