This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What speed RAM does the dv5000t come with (looking at the 2x512MB on a T2400 or T2050)? The HP web-site doesn't clarify things. Thanks!

    The 2050 only supports 533 ram (667 too but it will downclock to 533mhz so theres no point in gettin that), while the 2400 can have either 533 or 667 ram. Both of those ddr2 of course.
