    Hi All,

This is my first post on this forum. I just got my dv5000t from Costco. I've been using it for couple days then I notice this problem. Everytime after my HP went to sleep mode, it would lost the wireless connection and would never be able to find the wireless network until I restart it. Any of you have this problem and know how to fix it? If this issue happen only with my machine, I might return it and getting something else.

    Thanks for your input.

Try turning off your firewall and/or checking for any possible driver updates that might deal with the problem.

Well, HP has it's problems.. but it's not HP that sucks, it's the OEM manufactures that do. As far as the dv5000 model notebook is concerned. It's actually a pretty good laptop. I'll check with someone I know who knows alot about them to see what the solution is. Since the wireless nic is external to the sysbd, it may just need a replacement wireless nic, a quick fix.
