i have a question though.. i formatted and even tho i installed the drivers for the fingerprint, when i swipe my finga in the sensor, it wont do anything... i think im missing sumthing like digitalpersona or anything like that... is it included in the SwSetup folder that was originally with the computer.. if so, with subFolder will give me the answer? else where can i find this thing im looking for?

    10x in advice.

It sounds like you need to reinstall drivers for the fingerprint reader.

mine is working perfectly. but I tried to upgrade the drivers downloaded from hp, linked above, and it gave me the same error. I wonder if I have to uninstall first. it could be the digital persona software locked the device.
