    Windows Update just offered me a new IDT High Definition Audio Driver for my dv5t. I decided not to install it yet. Has anybody tried it? What version is it?

    I got the same driver thing for my HDX16T and I decided to go ahead and let windows update do its thing. Multiple times booting up caused a BSOD after a few minutes. System restored and not installing those drivers again.

    So far so good on my system. I notice a better sound improvement and stability compared to the 6209 version.
