    Hi,

I bought the HP dv6700z on June 2nd and although I loved it, found out about the new laptops coming out and sent it back 3 weeks later. Now that the dv5t has been released, I'm anxious to purchase it. I chatted with an HP agent to ask what the specs were for the RAM (forgive me but I'm not very knowledgeable about such things) and they weren't able to tell me my choices were "1GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm), 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)", etc. I wanted to know specifically if it was DDR2 667 or DDR2 800 or PC25300. Maybe I was supposed to gather that from what he told me but I couldn't.

    Thanks in advance.

Dv5T has DDR2 memory and its probably 667mhz because it doesn't explicitly state 800mhz
Several reviews of it exist online; neither mention 800mhz so since its lower-end budget not geared towards gamers high intensity, its safe to assume its 667mhz

    Nice review here with specs
