i couldnt find an answer anywhere, so i decided to post a thread. im getting a dv5t soon. pretty much base specs (with all the freebees) and the 9600m gt. i was wondering how hot this thing is gaming and such. not really gonna effect my purchase, just will determine how fast i buy a cooler.

Honestly it's not bad at all. I didn't play any games on it yet just browsing the web. When I use it on my desk it's fine and runs pretty cool. When I use it on the couch though it gets warmer and you have to make sure you are not blocking the air intake. For gaming, you prob could just raise the back up a little to increase airflow or just buy a cooler.
