    Hi,

This looks like a good laptop.
I am curious as to the quality of the keyboard. I am coming from a macbook pro whose LED screen just half blew out on me (inverter problem, $310 to fix it). Keyboard quality is very important.

The keyboard on the DV5T is one it's highlights. It has great feel. Nicely weighted, perfect key travel, and not very loud.
It's very comparable to the Macbook. The Macbook Pro may be a tad quieter, but I need more time on my DV5T to be sure.
