    Hi,

I have dv5t downgraded to XP. I am trying to use the laptop as a desktop replacement. Is there a way to have the lid/cover closed but the system still up and running?

    Thanks.

Right click on the desktop> select Properties> click on the screen saver tab> click on Power... > select the advanced tab> Under "When I close the lid of my portable computer:"
