The only thing I absolutely hate on it are the volume/transport/quickplay 'buttons' on top. I would much rather have had a physical dial for volume and a button for wireless (2 buttons - 1 for wifi 1 for bluetooth).

The only other minor gripe is the port placement. For design purposes, all the ports (USB, eSATA, power) are on the sides. I prefer back ports, especially fro power, seeing as there's no right angle power cord. Headphone/mic jacks are in the front, which is an odd spot for them - would've been better off on the side.

But hey, for what I got for about $950 (see specs in my sig), it's hard to complain. Everything above is just nitpicks.

BTW, heat is NOT an issue when doing daily tasks, especially on battery. Don't believe the whiners.

Heat will only be an issue when you are gaming or doing something that causes very high load, as is the case with just about any laptops. Older games without high graphic requirements won't cause max load, such as d2, so it wont be as hot as say running crysis on medium/full setting, which would be much hotter, even so with raised back/undervolting there would be no risk of damage to comp, and there is always option of coolers to be really safe.

Nothing sticks out- it is just a very small hole.

However, if you want to use it you have to either hook up the antenna or coaxial cable and adapter.
