ok i just got my hp dv5t today.... and i have some problems

i think that i may have uninstalled something i needed when i was getting rid of some bloatware, because:

i can't use the fingerprint reader anymore....
and the volume slider does not work properly, and will get stuck occasionally making that clicking noise

    help?

You probably uninstalled digital persona or whatever it's called.

the volume thing is a software issue. When it happens check to see if other touch controls work or not.

    dunno about the fingerprint reader

The finger print reader is the digital persona software.
