i have windows xp. my volume controls act really buggy. for example, when i press/hold volume up or down, nothing happens, but when i let go the volume bounces (YEA literally it bounces) up and back down and ends up somewhere random. any suggestions?

i pressed the stop button and it fixed it for that up/down but when i try again it still goes back to bouncing :( so stop button seems like a temp fix...was yours a permanent fix?

There are many threads discussing this same problem, it's very common. When it happens to me I just press either the stop or play button and as mentioned, it momentarily fixes the problem. Try searching to see if people have found a permanent solution.

This is hardware problem. Change sensor panel at the service center.
