    Hi,

I was just wondering if HP has any plans to once again offer discrete GPU as a customizable feature for the dv5tse. Also, is there any difference between the dv5t and the dv5tse? The dv5t seems to no longer be offered at all...

Also, I'm sure this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find the answer. Are there any hard figures regarding battery life with the 12-cell upgrade on this notebook (with or without discrete GPU)? How much more does this weigh than the 6-cell?

    Thanks a lot!

Unlikely considering the dv5t has effectively been discontinued and replaced with the dv6t. They are most liekly selling off remaining units before pulling the dv5tse from the website.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is it possible, then, to buy the card from a separate retailer and add it on after I've bought the notebook?

There is no card as such since HP integrates the dedicated graphics into the motherboard itself. So, you will have to replace the whole motherboard with one which has the Nvidia graphics in it. Plus, you will have to buy a new heatsink/fan along with it as well.
