So I bought an Intel Centrino Advanced-N Dual Band wireless card from amazon and installed it into my dv6 7014nr, but for some reason the max speed shown in Hwinfo is 11-12 mbps when I'm connected to my network and 300mpbs when I'm not. However, the computer I'm typing this on is a 3 year old budget acer laptop that is currently showing 54 (which I think is my router's max). I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, and any help at all would be appreciated.
