    dv6 buzzing sound when screen is moved

    dv6 6195CA got it in august and whenever i open the laptop or adjust the screen it makes this weird buzzing sound where the fan is anyone know how to fix this?

    What sort of buzzing sound? As if the fan is hitting/rubbing something or an obstacle or perhaps as if the motor is over-spinning?

    At any rate, my first instinct, would be to open it up to investigate. Nothing you can really do to solve the problem from the outside of the unit, IMO.

    yes iv tried going inside because it sounds like the fan is rubbing something. If I apply pressure downwards on the screen the sound goes away and if i move the screen back and forth enough it goes away. it seems that I have to take out a bunch of hardware to get to the fan so il probably just take it in to someone (don't want to mess anything up)
