    has anyone with a sandy bridge dv6 upgraded to windows 8 and notice it runs hotter? i can't get coolsense to work in windows 8, so i have no idea what to do. i have the amd driver and it is running on the intel graphics

    The only way in which I managed to run the CoolSeense technology, is installing this version of the Support Assistant, which automatically installs it.

    Also if you don't get your video drivers setup correctly one of the GPU goes crazy (I'm not sure if its the AMD or Intel). This was happening to me all summer and fall until HP finally released a decent video driver. (Decent may be too kind of a word).
