so everything worked fine today, then suddenly when i wanted to turn my laptop on and the power button wasn't working, i could see the white light on the right side from the ac adapter, but when i clicked the power button the laptop wouldn't turn on.

I decided to wait a few hours, then I connected the laptop again to the ac adapter and it turned itself on immediately, without me pushing anything. the display was showing everything at first but then it just when black, the laptop was still on, but the display was just not showing anything. same thing happens with the battery.

Now, im definitely sending this to tech service, but has this happened to anyone? is there something i should do or any reason why this might be happening?
I thought it was just the power button that wasnt working (easy fix i guess) but now the laptop has just gone crazy...

    Thanks..

Same thing was happening to me. I sent it in to hp and they replaced the power button. I literally just got it back minutes ago so I havnt had time to see if the problem was fixed for sure yet.
