    Hey people,

Today I thought I bought the dv6-6170 notebook for €450 ($570). The store was closing, so they had a 30% sale on all their last products. I had no clue what the notebook was supposed to look like, I just thought the specs looked more than decent for my use, but upon further investigation I seem to have gotten a dv6-6b70 in the box, instead.

The dv6-6b70 has an i7 2670QM 2.2GHz processor and 6GB RAM, as opposed to the dv6-6170's i7 2630 2GHz processor and 4GB RAM. The latter has 2 USB3.0 ports, 7200rpm (the other has a 5400rpm) HDD, Bluetooth, finger print scanner and aluminum casing, though.

Did I luck out or not? I'm not sure what to value more; The better processor I have now, or the extra's of the dv6-6170. I must add to that, I am a fool for design. The aluminum casing is rather important to me.

One thing that annoys me is the fact that I can find close to 0 information about the dv6-6b70. I don't know the release date, I don't know if it's a "current" model and all that jazz. I don't want to have gotten a notebook that was taken out of fabrication, because of God knows what.

Can any of you help me, inform me and make my day a bit easier? :p

    Thanks in advance!
