Hi, NBR HP. My friend's laptop, HP Pavillion dv6000, won't boot properly. When I turn on the laptop, the green loading bar halts and I am forced to press the power button to restart. The computer then asks to boot either normally or through safe mode. When I boot normally, the laptop works just fine. Is there a way to prevent the laptop's green loading bar to stop halting?

It may be because I edited the system configuration and changed BOOT> Timeout> from 30 to 3. Could that be it?
