    dv6000 laptop sleeve

    Is it just me that can't find a laptop sleeve to fit the dv6000?

    I've been to Fry's, BestBuy, Circuit City, none of the sleeves they have really fit my dv6000. In fact most of them are rated 14.1 - 15.4 inches, and those are HUGE for the dv6000.

    For it being such a popular laptop, I'm highly surprised that I can't find a sleeve in a retail store that will fit.

    Does anyone know where I could get a sleeve for my dv6000?

    Try Case Logic's Eva Shuttle with Retractable Handles. I've ordered one, based on the reviews, and the fact that it can double as a carrying case (I have a DV6000Z). There is also a version sans handles that you can grab from Buy.com for $20 shipping included.

    You can check the specifics, for the handle version, at this link and also read a review from an owner of a DV6000T (4th down). Ritz Camera has it for $21+ and if you pay via Google Checkout you'll get $10 off the price. Shipping is around $7 IIRC.

    If neither sleeve suits you, you can browse the "Laptop Sleeve" section for more styles and sizes. Also, I would double check with Case Logic or Buy.com regarding the dimensions of the Eva Shuttle with no handles since they differ between the 2 sites.
