    dv6000 reinstallation guide

    I plan to reformat my dv6000 to get rid of the junk software. People said there are reformat tutorials on the forum but i cant find any. Can anyone send me the link to the guide on how to reformat.. and what kinda stuff i should backup

    Did you look at the top of the forum where it says reinstallation guide?

    There is none particularly for the dv6000. If you want to write one, you are welcome to do so.

    I did a reinstall earlier and basically followed the 8000t guide. You don't need to slipstream the sata drivers, i didn't run into an issue. Basically, start with the chipset drivers, then go to audio, then video, then you're pretty much golden.
