Two of the rubber feet on my computer have come off. The first was the tiny, seemingly useless one by the disc drive so I didn't care. Yesterday, however, one of the corner feet came off, which makes the notebook not sit flat on a table.

Anyone know where I can pick up a replacement? I've searched around but haven't been able to find anything for the dv6xxx series online. I don't mind if its not from HP, as long as it fits.

They do come off fairly easy, and ive yet to find any replacement ones for my parents laptop, so i just pulled off the one from the opposite side cut it in half and glued half onto either side.

That one fell off mine too... a long time ago. It is indeed pretty useless isn't it? I never even understood why they bothered to add it there.

I would just take one from the middle, and stick it in the corner. The corner ones are the only feet that will disrupt the balance. Take the little one under the touchpad, and just re-glue it under the missing corner... maybe that will work?

you can get them from the HP parts store, they're not cheep though, considering that they are only rubber.

you can buy taller laptop feet made by 3M , it wont fit exactly though but it will do a better job.

Other than that you can either look for the part # from the service manual or superglue the old feet back on
