dv6000t no longer customizable?

I just bought my hp dv6000t, and i cant wait till it comes!

I went to hp.com to check if they changed any prices on the dv6000t. When i looked, there was no customize button. There was only a "recommended" button, and i clicked that and there was some kind of error. They will probably fix this soon, so take a look now! lol

wow it seems like there is an error for every hp laptop to customize!!! wow!! check it out!!!

All hp laptop have errors either when u click on them, or when you try to customize them! weird!

 

No problem on the HP website for me o.o

i tried it with the APP discount, and it dosent work. I tried it without the APP discount, and it worked! Thats weird...

so try going there with the APP discount, then you should get the same errors as me

 

The customize link shows up fine for me under the HP APP store.

 

well for me this is what happens:

for the hp laptops, when i click customize, this comes up:

"CTO error Thank you for your interest in this customized series.

Due to the tremendous response to this series, this page has become temporarily unavailable.

We suggest that you try to customize again, consider our ready-to-ship products, or call our sales center to purchase at 1-800-351-9687.

Thank you for shopping with us."

and when i try to click on a compaq model, this is what comes up:

"An error has occurred. We have logged this error and will investigate the cause.

this is very weird that this dosent happen with you...

 

Hmm, now it's doing it.

Either HP's site is having problems, or there are a lot of people buying computers right now.

WEll they should be... Best time to get really nice deals on HPs!
They basically have to get rid of the non-vista models.

so do you think the price will be going way up when jan 30th comes with the built in vista?

 

HP makes the notebook once you order it, so there's no need for them to try and get rid of the 'non-Vista' models.

Once January 30th comes, they'll just start imaging the hard drives with Vista and not XP.

Probably around the same.

Maybe a little more, but I doubt there'd be much of a difference.

Nah, you should be fine. You can always upgrade to Vista if you really want with the upgrade CD.

 

yeah or i could download it illegally and wait like hours and hours for the download to complete... thats if im completely desperate though...
