    was thinking of upgrading to wireless-n in my house but my dv6000z only has wireless-g

    is there a compatible internal wireless-n card that i can buy?

    if not does anyone have any recommendations on expresscards as i dont really want a usb card, feel like im gonna break it off

    Find the part # in the service guide for your notebook or partsurfer.hp.com, search for that # on eBay, swap it in, hope for the best. If the part isn't in the BIOS whitelist your notebook won't boot. HP is the only manufacturer I know of that uses these infernal whitelists.

    idk what youre talking about

    on partsurfer there is no wireless n card listed so i have no idea what card might actually work

    there is no n card listed in the service guide. i would like to know what n cards i can actually add.

    i do have that exact express card. i prefer internal though.
