    dv6152eu boot problem..

    when i turn on my laptop, i hear a slightly long beep, followed by two short beeps, though the power indicator and hdd indicator are active, what is the problem?

    Know its about a year after your thread but I have the same problem and I just wonder if you have identified the beep codes.

    Its a motherboard problem, something has fried. The gpu in particular

    Ive had this problem in the past, the only way to fix it was to send it in for warranty repairs

    If your out of warranty, please check the recall page if your notebook is in there. You will still get repairs even if your original warranty is expired
