    Hy,

this question is pretty much about "which one is better? Turion 64 x2 TL-56 or Core 2 Duo T5500?" There is also a 40Gb bigger HD in the dv6263cl, but this is not so important. The second is a little more expensive (this doesn't mean much to you, but the first is about R$ 3099,00 and second R$ 3299,00 - all in my brazilian money) but nothing I couldn't afford (otherwise I wouldn't be doing this questions!).

Another question: HP is better than Acer or Toshiba? They are also in my list but I do think that HP is better constructed. Also I've been seen a lot of problems with HP notebooks and I am afraid of buying something that will crack in the first month after what I will need to visit again and again the HP store.

    Thanks!

hp comps are okay but it may be differ in different countries...
like xbox 360 gets broken and doesn;t support in england but really good in us..
core 2 duo is the best cpu out there right now
but amd is okay so little save on the money...

Well, the dv6263cl has the C2D T5500 which will outperform the TX2 TL56, but the dv6258se has slightly better graphics card. Another thing worth mentioning is that the dv6258 is the se or special edition version (Picture) and so has a different finish compared to the regular dv6000 series (Picture).

Hi I have a broken outer casing it is just above the hinge on my dv4018AP. I love the way the computer works but have had no end of hassle with HP about it. It just happened slowly . I look after my things and this took me by surprise. It was expensive. Has anyone else had this problem and a problem with HP service.
