i am utterly disappointed with the display of my machine. for people who own a similar laptop, what display settings are you guys using. ive played a dvd on the laptop, and the video is extremely dull. it plays smoothly, but the video just doesnt look like a dvd! please let me know what settings i should keep, or if i need to download any drivers or software.

    thanks

Try downloading one of the drivers off laptopvideo2go.com.

Then go into Nvidia Control Panel, and adjust Digital Vibrancy to 25% or more.
