    Which AC Adapter is compatible with the dv6500t? I'm a college student, and I think it'd be helpful to have one in my bag for classes and one that stays in the dorm.

    Didn't the dv6500t come with an adapter? You could look at the HPshopping.com website to see if they sell adapters.

    Just be sure to get the correct one for your unit, as they offer both 90W and 65W adapters.

    its HP part number 394224-001...
    Also in school and got two to leave one there as they are not the lightest things on the planet...

    Note: I am assuming adapter for DV6500 is the same as for DV6000
