Does anyone know what kind of touchpad is included with the dv6500t SE?

I went to Best Buy to check it out, but they only had the dv2500t SE, which came with an Alps. I had problems with my palm brushing against the touchpad which would make the cursor fly around the screen when I typed. This isn't the mouse speed but rather the cursor is flying around because it thinks I am controlling the touchpad when I just accidentally brushed up against it. I tried to look for a way to turn down the sensitivity but i couldn't find anything in control panel.

On the other regular Pavillions though, there was a Synaptics tab that (like my old notebook) I could turn down the sensitivity to prevent cursor jumps. So, I would prefer if the dv6500t had a Synaptics touchpad. Does anyone know? I guess a better solution would be if anyone knows how to turn down the sensitivity with an Alps touchpad.
