While typing on my laptop keyboard, every now and then the cursor will jump back to a previous word for no reason. It is a big annoyance and I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem.

Also, sometimes when I try to right click on the recycle bin or open it up and click "Empty Recycle Bin" windows freezes and I have to open the task manager. Anybody know how to fix this.

    All replies are appreciated.

#1 See if it still happens when you turn the touchpad off
You might just be hitting the touchpad by accident

second that for turning the touchpad off, you may also have the settings wrong. Go to start, control panel, hardware and sound, mouse, go to the tapping tab, make sure tap off when typing is checked, if its checked already, then slide the delay after last key hit to towards long.
