IMO get the Intel version much cheaper and much more performance.
-
The AMD version is cheaper
-
NO it is not! Check the website!
-
Intel w/ T7250 comes to $1182. AMD w/ TL-62 comes to $1242.
Skip the recovery discs, you can burn them yourself. -
i just cofigured them both and got this
AMD
$1,367.05
INTEL
$1,418.99 -
I confg both evenly and I got $1000 for amd and $900 for Intel. Also I have advice one there is a 30% of Hp coupon for anything above $999, and you cannot use 64 bit vista fully unless you are upgrading to 4 GB of ram.
-
Well, the prices I quoted are configured exactly as in your opening post minus the restore discs. I don't know where you guys are getting your prices from.
-
I get mine straight off of Hp but missing a few things but both notebooks that I confg are the same between each other.
-
64-bit OS is really only necessary if you plan to get 4gb of memory. And I'd vote for AMD (Even though I have Intel in my dv6519tx).
Grand Admiral -
The T7250 is going to be faster than the TL-62.
-
Ok i think i am going with
Vista Home Premium
C2D t7250 2GHZ
2gb
128MB 8400GS
Radiance, Finger, Cam
802.11AGN and BT
120GB
8X DVD+/-RW w. DL
TV TUNER
12 cell
with a quick connect dock, 2 year ad and warranty, after coupon it comes to $1,496.97 -
More like the GPU is better at graphics and the CPU is better at encoding - whatever that may be.
-
the intel comes with a nvidia card.... so?
-
Dose not matter what the integrated gpu comes with he is getting the dedicated Nvidia anyway!
-
Bottom Line: The dv6000t is going to be the better computer at the better price. End of Discussion. Don't know why it took 17 comments to arrive here.
-
Thank you all for you help, I appreciate it
-
Your welcome! Don't forget there is a 30% off coupon check this forums deals page!
-
The AMD is cheaper and what i've heard is faster but louder and more hot
-
also that price seems high. I got a 2.1ghz AMD with everything that you got minus the TV tuner and mine came down to $733 with the 30% coupon, so you might want to wait a little to get that price lowered.
