Hey everyone. I have a dv6700t 15.4" Notebook and I want to replace the screen, but one with a higher resolution, preferrably something with 1440x900 or 1680x1080 resolution. I found this LCD on eBay, but I'm not sure if they are compatible with the dv6700 series. It is made by HP/Compaq and is 15.4. has anyone sucessfully installed a different resolution LCD on a dv6700 series? Thanks!

Just by looking at the LCD ribbon/connector, Nope.

Its possible though its very limited and very hard to find due to the LCD connectors. I suggest PM'ing Johnkisss as he succesfully installed a higher res LG screen on his DV9000. You might just need to find the 15.4" version of it.
