    As long as it's a 200 pin and it runs at 667 it'll work

    I think you mean 200-pin :). 240-pin is for Desktops.

    Also check out the hot ram deals thread(check the first and last couple of pages). You might find a cheaper kit.

    It was cheaper for you to buy the memory aftermarket instead of when you purchased the laptop. That way she thinks you are actively trying to save money.

    Thats a good one or you can use Valentine's Day. She might let you buy the ram after you buy her some flowers, chocolates etc.

    Just a quick question?

    Will the DV6736NR use the SPD timings (4-4-4-12) or are they programmed into the BIOS (currently 5-5-5-15)?

    I was also thinking about buying the G.Skill 4-4-4-12.
