This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I installed XP Pro on this laptop but haven't done anything about the media buttons accross the top of the key board or Quickplay.

    Do these buttons function only with Quickplay or do they also work with other media software?

    I have Quickplay 2.3 for XP downloaded but don't know if this is the best to install. Is there better free software available and do the media buttons work with it.

    Any help appreciated.
