Hey I just bought this laptop today and to my horror after discharging it and recharging it twice it will only achieve 1 hour battery life on XP on power saver with the graphics options in nvidia control panel set to power saver too!

Now surely this isn't normal for this laptop to achieve a 1 hour battery span?

    Also Rmclock shows:

    Designed Capacity: 88800 mWh
    Fully Charged Capacity: 59200 mWh

No matter what I do I cannot get above 1hour and 5 mins.

Forgot to add, I tried running the HP battery checker and it gives the error hpbatui.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

The battery seems to be a lemon... This should be covered under warranty..

Well got the new one from HP, it now does 1 hour and 20 mins on Minimal Power Mangement profile, this has got to be a joke. It is sitting on the Windows XP desktop doing nothing with the HDD turned off and the processor at 800mhz.
