    Hey guys,

Is there anyway to increase the sensitivity of the volume hotkeys (f9-f10) so that one volume button press corresponds to one bar change on the screen display? Its a bit annoying that I have to press the button 4-5 times to see a bar change on the display.

Also, is there a way to increase the sensitivity of the multitouch/touchpad as well? I noticed that half the time, the two-finger scroll does not work unless I place one finger on the right side of the touchpad.

    Thanks.

any advice? I really hate how the touchpad isn't sensitive to two-finger scrolling. Anyone else have the same problem?

I have found that the larger the distance between the two fingers, the more reliably it functions. You CAN get things to work without much space, but I think you need to have both fingers contact the pad at the same time...kindof plopping them down, seem to work best (for me) It takes a bit of practice to get it down without thinking about it. Also, once in scroll mode, a single finger will do.

There are options within the control panel applet:

    Hardware and Devices>Mouse>Synaptics TouchPad

Select properties or options and highlight the area you wish to configure. You can change options by clicking on the symbol that resembles a little sprocket. Alternatively, you can also get there by right-clicking the Synaptics icon in the tray area and selecting options/properties. My apologies if my paths are alittle off. I am not in front of my own notebook, at the moment.

Having the sound change on the "one bar per keystroke" method would have the sound going up or down too radically, too fast. Windows volume measures from 0 to 100. There are only 7 to 10 bars on the Beats audio app. Each bar would logically represent an increase or decrease of at least 10 units on the Windows scale. That's quite a difference all at once, if one Beats bar per keystroke were used, IMO. Perhaps just pressing and holding down the - or + buttons to your desired volume level, might be better if tapping the keys constantly annoys you.
