    dv6t 6000 hard locking

    recently my dv6t 6000 has been hard locking anyone have any ideas/software to find out why? its only a month old

    i did that it seems to be related to ATI Drivers im running 11.5b but it seems if i update i i get terrible screen tearing

    I had somewhat of the same issue. No screen tearing though. Solved it by using the minimum system install which will put the HP package of the ATi v11.4 CCC drivers on the notebook (which will include the Intel drivers for switchable graphics). Beyond that, I upgraded directly to v11.8 off of AMD's download page. No issues after that. If I recall correctly what I read here on the forums, the last couple of CCC releases are supposed to better support switchable graphics options.
