So yeah, every time I change the volume it goes into the separate volume popup window and whatever else I'm doing gets minimized if it was fullscreened, it's really annoying. How do I turn this off? I've been told by a HP custom service guy to uninstall Quick Touch, but I can't even find it anywhere.

What can I do about this?

(Also on a side note are there any other things I can do to optimize this computer?)

Just do a clean install and be happy. The first optimization is to remove all the HP junk. ;)

hum I'm not how to config quick launch but you can get rid of it, in control panel > programs and features >> hp quick launch buttons
