    dv6t worth getting? (HP Memorial Day Sale)

    Most notable upgrades were 1080p screen, nvidia gt 650m

    Yeah savings of ~$400
    But isn't this laptop already over a year old?

    Sale ends in 2 days I think
    Any advice is appreciated

    That's the new dv6t 7000 series that just came out a few weeks ago. The 6000s are the year old ones. And yes, I would consider that a good deal, but you may want to check out the owner's lounge sticky to see others' opinions on it.

    Just got mine and I love it, get the 2gb card though. The 1gb cards have been known to cause fires.

    I was wondering if this was a good idea too. I will be buying my first laptop and I like the look of the new HP dv6 but I'm kinda apprehensive about buying one because of all the build quality issues I've been hearing about..I want a laptop that will last me a long time. I will be using this mainly for entertainment and school, but also would love to play a few games, like Diablo or Skyrim.

    Also considering the Samsung Chronos. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks! :)
