    I ordered my laptop (Jan 2010) right before the new model came out and still love it.
    I would like to know if the keyboard can be upgraded to a backlit keyboard though . Is this something I need to check with HP or can it not be done?
    Also, can you upgrade to Usb 3.0?

    Can't you to USB 3.0 as far as I know, you can get a USB hub tou.

    I actually wonder about the Backlit keyboard as well. I have checked under my keyboard, and the MOBO does have a empty slot which I belive is for Backlit keyboard, but haven't tried it out yet.

    Hey, thanks for the replies. I ordered and rcvd a nice little usb light for those low light/no light situations and it really works well.
