My customized dv6t-7000 2012 model with intel core i7-3610qm processor with nvidia geforce gt 650m 1gb at 1366x768 resolution laptop from hp direct.com was a steal, which costed me 906 total for lots of great options, but I have a complaint about it... THE 1366X768 SCREEN IS AWFUL COLOR-WISE! I looked everywhere on how to change it so it actually looks good, so I eventually gave up, and one day I was in my control panel and saw this factory installed program called Intel graphics and media control panel, so i click into control panel-->hardware and sound---> and then into Intel graphics and media control panel, clicked advanced mode and the color enhancements and BOOM. I found this awesome program where you can change your contrast, saturation, hue, and brightness of red, blue, green or all colors. When I found this I started to mess around with it right away, and I noticed that some of my new settings looked amazing, but were to dark when it came down to playing dark games like minecraft when you go in a cave where theres no lighting, and skyrim at night, where I could barely see my character, so I found the perfect solution that made my crappy display look bright, colorful, sharp, and prescise color-wise. here are my settings, im not sure if this would only look good for my laptop, but try it on other devices with intel graphics and media control panel, which is located in control panel, and then the category hardware and sound. before you do anything with your colors, you have to put the hue and saturation values FIRST then go to red, blue, and green after for the saturation and hugh to stick with those colors. If u guys have already done this id like to know what ur values are and to see if your values are better looking then my own. if you have an amd video card your settings are in catalysis control panel for your display, but im not exactly sure where that is. The intel graphics and media control panel may not be in your control panel, it could be somewhere else, just look in the control panel, it should be there. PICTURES IN NUMBERED ORDER

    click apply after the steps

Respond if you dont think this matches your preffered screen liking FOR THE 1366X768 dv6t-7000 quad ed SCREEN ONLY (NOT 1080 SCREEN) or low colored laptop display and if you have any questions and disagreements on how you have a better way to make the display look better.

Looks good on my dv6t-6000. Maybe this screen is the same as yours.

edit: hue is not correct, too red. set back to normal with saturation at 10. Looks great.

Your completely right, the screen was way to red for me, I edited my post for red to have less contrast and green to have equal contrast as red, but i had to make it even with the blue, so i put that saturation .1 less for all of my contrast colors, and its even now. thanks for the contribution.
