    Hello,

I just opened my new HP dv6t-se and was very surprised (and disappointed) to see no num lock indicator light. I can't believe HP left this out, particularily on a system with a separate number pad.

I saw where HP has some add-on that displays the status of some keys - hopefully num lock is one of them. I believe it's called something like "On-screen display", but I could not find it. Is anyone aware of this or is there some other solution? Are other dv6t users upset about this or is this just something I'm feeling?

    Thanks,
    SKK

I think I answered my question. There is a third party utility called TrayStatus that does such - displays the status of CapLock, NunLock, ScrollLock, etc on the status bar. Surely not what I wanted (and much less than what I expected from HP), but it works.....

    Thanks,
