I have read about people using aux cooler fans on the quad computers. I just wanted to ask what everyone's opinion is on what denotes needing one and not. Is the "stock" fan not big or powerful enough to keep the computer cool while gaming, web surfing or video/picture editing? Does an aux fan disrupt the computers natural cooling fan, and perhaps harm the "stock" fan?
I am somewhat new to this computer stuff, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Now, it is also true that an external cooler can only help (they won't harm the computer in the slightest), even if it is a little bit. Here is a thread that showed what happened when I started using a Cooler Master U2.

Note: it is not nessesary to get a notebook cooler, but cooler is always better, so I ended up purchasing one.
