I was thinking about getting one of these laptops but I'm kind of concerned about heating issues that seem to have bothered turion laptops?

Also, does it have space to let you add a secondary hard drive?

I had a dv6z with an older Turion X2 Ultra processor and it had no problems with heat and, from the tests I have seen, the newer Turion II processors run very cool.

And it does not have a secondary hard drive but I believe the dv7 does.

Thanks for the response abaddon, it's good to know that the heating won't be an issue.

Regarding the harddrive though I meant if I could add a second harddrive without having to remove the first one on my own. I know some notebook motherboards have multiple sata controllers?

Like I said, I'm pretty sure that the dv6 only has one sata controller but you could remove the optical drive and add one via a caddy.
