I got flickering white horizontal lines on the top of the screen. After reboot, it is gone.

I did a google, people are saying I have to disable "turn off display after x minutes". It does not make any sense, this is a perfect valid use case.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

I already exchanged once. The previous one had a different screen issue.

Are you sure this is not a graphics card overheating problem? Have you checked the temperatures using GPUz?
Does this only happen while watching videos or playing games?

In any case, make sure that your graphics driver is up-to-date and check HP solution center (support) for any hotfixes that might relate to graphics/display.

I have the same problem like heshan1234. After a restart, the problem is gone. It happens only sometimes and I have already tested several drivers.
    No solution yet.
    Maybe someone has an idea.
