I have the dv7 4190, and today I changed my primary hdd for a 120 gb intel ssd :) i'm really happy with the speed and the lack of all the frustration software i had from the factory installation, but although everything is working correctly i have this two small problems with the keyboard:
    - F11 - sound mute is always red, as if muted
    - the special functions of the touch-pad do not work and the touch-pad disable light is aways red as if disabled, although i have the latest synaptics drivers and the work correctly

i have the function key drivers and all function keys work correctly

the only thing i haven't installed is the IDT High Definition Audio Codec, but I had some problems with the sound on the old installation, and as far as everything works perfect with win 7's default sound drivers i don't want to risk installing them...
