I have a dv7 1055ea and have updated my bios from F.2C to F.2D and now my subwoofer is not working and my once great sounding bassy laptop now sounds like a little tinny netbook!! has anyone else had any problems with that bios update? Is there anyway i can downgrade my bios back to F.2C ?

    Hi ambidav,

Was really worried after I read this. My dv7 is exactly the same as yours (1055ea) and I literally just updated my bios from F.2C to F.2D ... my sub woofer is working fine. Is your Blu Ray drive (BC-5500S?) reading any blu ray disc?
