I have spent the better part of 5 days figuring out just the right combination of drivers, Raid arrays, SATA, MegaSAS... etc. and have finally accomplished what i thought might just be impossible. A functioning XP x64 install on my Pavilion. :D

All drivers are functioning including hard disc protection

The Media Smart touch buttons work however the Wireless LAN button changes color yet the wireless is always on.

Have installed the HP updates software, the included Cyberlink DVD Suite, and some MediaSmart Apps.

Remote control sensor functions perfectly (plus control obviously)

The only problem i have now is that the Sigmatel Audio software is not compatible. Although the audio does work.

Anybody have a XP x64 solution for the audio soft?? I am contemplating putting up the Driver files in a .rar archive, give me some feedback if anyone thinks this would benefit them. I think that for most of the new AMDx2 HP's with ATI HD 3200 graphics this set shouldwork like a charm. ;)

Here are some pics of functioning system...

Do you have already the solution for the sound in x64?
And the "8 unknown" devices for x64?

    Thanx in Advance.
