I grabbed one of these from woot.com last week. If I buy rather than build a PC, I always as a rule fdisk. So I made a backup of the recovery software, partitioned formatted and skipped Vista entirely for Windows 7. I got proper drivers from nvidia for the video, then went to HP and downloaded Vista drivers for everything else. This all worked out really well, with on hitch. I can't get my audio software to recognize the 2.1 speaker setup. I have decided that I probably don't have the right driver for the audio device, it's a generic windows driver. Hardware ID looks like it is a Sigmatel device maybe, there are drivers on HP site that are supposed to work with that hardware ID, but they won't install, saying that it is not a supported device.

Can anyone here offer an idea so I may perhaps get my subwoofer working? Also of note, the "buttons" across the top above the keyboard don't respond, with the exception of the wifi. I also suspect this is a driver issue.

    Thanks!!
